Jack F. Granger, president, brings to his role a background of sales, business, communications, public relations, real estate and auction marketing. Jack has his CAI designation from the Auction Marketing Institute. The CAI designation is awarded to those individuals who qualify as professionals within the auction industry. AMI is the national organization for professional auctioneers located in Overland park, Kansas. Jack is a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA).

Candace Rayfield has joined Granger Thagard & Associates, Inc. as a Sales Associate/Auction Apprentice. Candace began her real estate career with RealtySouth in Birmingham and was Associate Broker for Coastal Properties in Orange Beach, AL. She was the top listing and sales producer consistently for over two years. She has worked in Sales and Marketing for over 15 years and served as Vice President of Marketing for two different companies. Candace utilizes all of her creative and professional talents to create a unique partnership for Granger Thagard & Associates that will be beneficial to all of her clients as well as rewarding and profitable.
 
After graduation from The University of Alabama Kenny began his career as a CPA with the accounting firm of Ernst & Ernst, now known as Ernst & Young. He worked for St. Vincent’s Hospital and their parent company, Ascension, for many years in the Finance and Information Technology areas. Kenny has long been familiar with the work of Granger, Thagard & Associates, Inc. in the Birmingham area. Having a lifelong interest in real estate, Kenny is able to combine his strong business experience with the desire to maximize the returns of the clients of Granger, Thagard.
 
Luke worked in the audio/visual industry with Holt A/V for thirty years before joining GTA . Luke has assisted and contributed to Granger Thagard’s Charity Auction division for many years. Luke received his real estate license in 2009.
 
After graduation from The University of Alabama Bill began his career in the transportation industry with Roadway Express in Atlanta. Upon returning to Birmingham in 1986 he purchased Shaw Warehouse Company. After selling Shaw, Bill came to work for Granger, Thagard & Associates, Inc. in March of 2013. He brings with him years of sales and marketing knowledge along with the ability to work closely with his clients in the Real Estate industry.
 
Terry Thrash joined Granger, Thagard & Associates, Inc. as a Sales Associate/Auction Apprentice. Originally from Sylacauga Terry attended both Auburn University and the University of Alabama. Terry brings years of sales experience from the flooring business as well as knowledge of real estate as an investor and property manager for the past 17 years. After using Granger, Thagard & Associates to auction a few of his investments in farmland, residential, and commercial property in the Birmingham area, Terry was so pleased with the auction process and the results that he chose to pursue a career as a real estate professional and auctioneer apprentice.
 
Yvonne Pope, Director of Non-Profit Events, has a diverse background which uniquely qualifies her to assist in planning your events for exponential success. Yvonne was a founding member of ROAR – The Southeast Cancer Foundation (SCF) and served as its Executive Director for five years. While director, she was instrumental in raising over $1,000,000 and created the first ROAR Endowed Chair. Yvonne has extensive experience in fundraising events from planning to execution! In addition to fundraisers, Yvonne was a court reporter for over 30 years.
 

All GTA auction marketing associates are either real estate brokers, real estate salespersons, or independent business persons. Granger, Thagard & Associates, Inc. has a network of real estate brokers and professionals, across the nation, who can be called upon for a specific “experience curve” for each special client’s situation.  Each associate’s first business career and/or currently maintaining other businesses, makes them uniquely qualified to discuss the supply and demand cycles of the marketplace as they too, are independent business people. 

Granger and Thagard began their professional career with antique auctions, farm auctions and business liquidations. Marketing varied real estate properties and other significant personal property assets in the Southeast has been their focus since the mid 1990’s.

GTA has sold millions of dollars worth of real estate and significant personal property assets. They have become immensely familiar with necessary steps of auction marketing to satisfy their clients.
